Some Cool Movies 🎬
I love movies, and try to watch as many as I can. Here are some movies, not necessarily my favourite, which I love to talk about, or feel they need more recognition, or are just here, cause why not?
English

The Dark Knight (2008)
"It's Not About Money. It's About Sending A Message. Everything Burns!"

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
Another Heath Ledger Performance. "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" scene by Heath Ledger is probably my favourite scene of all time.

A Beautiful Mind (2001)
I am doing a Game Theory Course because of this movie. That's it.

About Time (2013)
The most boring storyline, the most non moving plot, but enchanting performance, and I never got bored throughout. “Would it be very wrong if I asked for your number?”

Lights Out (2016)
Brilliant story line. Very rewatchable. Second favourite horror movie, right after Conjuring.

Help! (1965)
Not as highly rated as Hard Day's Night, but much more fun, so I enjoy it more. They did not want to make this movie, cause they discovered LSD, but had to because of the contract, so they asked to make the movie in the Bahamas, so they could vacation. Also, this is where George Harrison discovered the Sitar, during the restaurant scene, and met Ravi Shankar, eventually, leading them to Rishikesh, so yay! Also, loved watching The Beatles have fun. Also, the Ticket To Ride video is iconic as it is...
Hindi

Kaabil (2017)
Highly underrated movie. One of Hrithik Roshan's best performances.

Satyaprem Ki Katha (2023)
A rightful hit. The handling of such a sensitive topic, and Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani acting was top notch...Really showed how good of an actor Kartik Aryan is...

Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017)
Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon. What could go wrong? Amazing concept. Also, Ayushmann Khurrana.

Luka Chuppi (2019)
Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon, and amazing chemistry. What could go wrong? Amazing concept. Maddock Films, another hit.
Italian

Ladri di Biciclette (1948)
Anti Climactic Movie about joblessness in Europe after the war. Noone gave any materialistic support, just moral. Ended like it started, with Antonio dissapearing again in the crowd, out of which he had emerged in the start.
Swedish

Summer With Monika (1953)
A surprisingly interesting movie, about how the Marshall's plan affected the job market in Europe after the War, and the importance of having a job had significantly diminished. Started really well, and ended weirdly well for both of them. Monika living the free life she wanted, and Harry living responsibly, like he was studying to. He did become like the old people he used to see daily.
French

Jules and Jim (1962)
What a weird movie. Psychopathic, really. A weird love triangle, with an interesting end.
Iranian

Through the Olive Trees (1994)
An interesting contrast between Rural tradition and Urban life. Also highlights the contrast between Rural beliefs and Urban beliefs of Rural beliefs.

A Moment of Innocence (1996)
Iranian Inception. Wonder where Nolan got his idea. Also, dwelled into Pre Revolution vs Post Revolution Iran change.
